Ahhhh Arriva . . .
Built in 2007 Arriva came to change Calgary's skyline and had an affect like no other condo tower in Calgary before. The Arriva highrise was completed at the tail end of Calgary's biggest real estate boom and it offered lifestyles that most baby-boomers and young professionals had to notice. Tucked away in East Victoria Park, the towering 36 stories stood out like something from Dubai or Hong Kong.
It was also one of the first to offer high-end commercial space at the foot of the building - which meant that you could wine and dine without leaving the building. Nowadays some of it's best views of downtown and it's prestige of the highest residential tower in Alberta have been taken away by the Guardian towers.
Arriva still boasts one of the most modern lobby's anywhere in Calgary - and the elevator is still a conversation piece - 10 years later. A lot of the units have 2 titled parking stalls and there are 2 guests suites in the building as well as a mediocre gym. The highest sale in the building was on the 36th floor and sold for $1,410,000 back in 2011.
