There were 88 Single Family Residential Homes sold in Killarney in 2019 for an average price of $648,451. Average Days on Market (DOM) for homes in Killarney and Glengarry was 63 days. Real estate in Killarney really got under way after WWII when soldiers returned home and were offered lots for $25 to help them settle down.  Back then construction consisted mainly clapboard and stucco bungalows on 25ft or 50ft lots, but since the early 2000's, many of these structures have been replaced with infill housing and condo developments. Killarney-Glengarry is now known for its urban forest of mature trees and proximity to downtown – augmented by the new West LRT line.
