There were 88 Single Family Residential Homes sold in Killarney in 2019 for an average price of $648,451. Average Days on Market (DOM) for homes in Killarney and Glengarry was 63 days. There were 62 Condo & Townhome sales in Killarney for an average price of $406,743 and they took an average of 67 days to sell.  Newer infills in Killarney and Glengarry (attached and detached) can range in price from $750,000 all the way to just over $1 million dollars, depending on size and location.

Real estate in Killarney really got under way after WWII when soldiers returned home and were offered lots for $25 to help them settle down.  Back then construction consisted mainly clapboard and stucco bungalows on 25ft or 50ft lots, but since the early 2000's, many of these structures have been replaced with infill housing and condo developments. Killarney-Glengarry is now known for its urban forest of mature trees and proximity to downtown – augmented by the new West LRT line. It is an area that is growing and changing as it attracts developers building homes for young families who want to be close to downtown but with the amenities of a suburb.
