Hamptons: the community and people who live there

Posted by Kirby Cox on Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at 3:52pm.

The Hamptons is one of northwest Calgary's premier golf communities. This highly sought after, affluent community is well suited to Executive living. The stunning golf course of The Hamptons weaves through the neighbourhood with manicured fairways and greens, gorgeous ponds and natural ravines.

The Hamptons offers residents so much more than golf; the community is rich in amenities including an Olympic size hockey rink, tennis courts, ball diamonds, soccer pitches and a state-of-the art playground. An annual HOA fee of $200 ensures the community stays in peak condition year round with enhanced area maintenance, including planting of flower beds, increased grass cutting, watering and weeding. The Hamptons Homeowner Association is very active, putting on a variety of events throughout the year, including an annual Stampede breakfast.

One of the highlights of the Hamptons is the Public Hamptons School (K-4). Built in 1999 by the Hamptons developer, Tirion Properties, the school was the first of its kind in Alberta as a public/private venture. This outstanding school has a great reputation for innovative learning, fine arts activities and a well-rounded physical education program. The public Hamptons school is located at 10330 Hamptons Blvd. NW, 403.777.7300.
